Andrea Benson
Andrea Benson is a Health Science teacher at Sheyenne High School in the West Fargo Public Schools. She is passionate about working with children of all ages, to help them grow and develop to reach their full potential. Andrea has worked with children her whole career. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in nursing from Concordia College, Moorhead and began her career as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit. She then pursued a Master’s of Science degree in occupational therapy, working in direct pediatric therapy and early intervention. Andrea has always had a love for education and is excited to now have the opportunity to be sharing her medical knowledge and experiences with students in the classroom. In addition to teaching, Andrea works, as needed, in therapy and is pursuing another Master’s degree in educational leadership. In her free time Andrea loves to spend time with her husband and their three children.

Heidi Horne
Heidi Horne grew up in Fargo, ND and graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran High School. She attended Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD and obtained her BSN in Nursing in 2008. Heidi has worked at Sanford Hospital in Fargo for 14 years prior to starting her new position teaching Health Sciences with the Fargo Public Schools. She has 4 years of CNA experience in long term care and the hospital setting and 11 Years of RN experience floating between general, medical, surgical and critical care units. Heidi is married to her husband, Chris, and have a son, Collin and daughter, Mallory.

Ellie Guy
Ellie Guy is a new member of the Cass County CTE Center as an educator for Central Cass Public Schools. Ellie will be teaching courses at Central Cass High School, with online outreach to member schools in the C3TEC consortium. Elllie is an approved adjunct instructor at North Dakota State College of Science in Wapheton for dual credit offerings.

Kelsey Walter
Kelsey Walter is a new health sciences teacher located at the Fargo North High School program. Kelsey has experience in the area of allied health sciences and a degree in dental hygiene. Prior experiences as a camp counselor and passion for medical careers inspired Kelsey to join the teaching profession to share her knowledge and skills with our future health providers. Kelsey will also be teaching Health Sciences I, Health Sciences II, online medical terminology to students in the C3TEC consortium with dual credit opportunities through NDSCS, and Certified Nursing Assistant with options for certification.
